Jesse Cooper, PE


Jesse Cooper started at Severud Associates as a summer intern, before he graduated from college. In 2011, he joined the firm as an engineer and he progressed to senior engineer four years later. In 2018, he advanced to associate. Jesse has engineered several challenging renovation projects including the Manhattan Motorcars dealership at 711 Eleventh Avenue and the conversion of the James A. Farley Post Office building into Moynihan Station, both in New York City. Other high-profile projects to which Jesse has contributed are the David E. Goel and Stacy L. Goel Center for Theater and Dance at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire and the redevelopment of Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.

Jesse is licensed as a professional engineer in New York and New Jersey. He earned both a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and a Master of Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
