Associate

Daniel Presburger began his career as an engineer at Severud Associates in 2017. He progressed to senior engineer in 2021 and in 2023, he advanced to associate. Over more than five years with the firm, Dan has gained extensive experience with the design and construction of concrete and steel buildings. In addition to analyzing, designing, and detailing structures, Dan has spent significant time in the field observing construction. Dan’s recent projects include the mid-rise residential building at 278 Eighth Avenue and redevelopment of One Madison Avenue, the overbuild and renovation of an existing concrete office building; both projects are in New York City. He has also contributed to the new corporate headquarters for JPMorgan Chase at 270 Park Avenue, and One Vanderbilt Avenue, two of the tallest office buildings in New York City.
 
Dan is licensed as a professional engineer in New York. He earned a bachelor of science and master of science in civil engineering from Rutgers University, in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
