Severud Associates tailored the framing to suit diverse tenant needs such as a trading floor, newsroom, and television studio, in this 32-story building. Recessed signage support structures and the stainless steel-clad fin at the roof added challenges to the design and detailing. The lateral system combines braced frames in the service core with perimeter moment-resisting frames.
