LA Metro - Red Line Canopies

Severud Associates combined the properties of structural steel with aesthetic detailing to meet the challenge of designing these modular and adaptable canopy structures to high architectural standards and stringent California seismic codes. The canopy roof glazing rests on tubular rafters spanning across an oval pipe ring. The ring is carried by three sloped box columns.
