Kevin C. Norton, PE

Kevin Norton has been with Severud Associates since 2015. He progressed to senior engineer four years later and in 2021, advanced to associate. With more than a decade of structural design experience, he has become adept at structural analysis, with a particular expertise in floor system vibration studies. Kevin has made significant contributions to the design of such large-scale projects as the immersive entertainment venue Sphere, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the John A. Paulson Center, a mix of residential, performing arts, and athletic facilities on the West Village campus of New York University in Manhattan. Among Kevin’s other significant projects are the Terminal 6 redevelopment at JFK International Airport in Queens, the CFG Bank Arena renovation in Maryland, and the new East 97th Street campus of the Marymount School in Manhattan.

 

Kevin is licensed as a professional engineer in New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and Master of Science in structural engineering and mechanics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
