Severud Associates conducted an extensive condition survey of this multi-purpose arena before performing a non-linear analysis of the cable roof originally designed by the firm in the late 1960s. Based on the combined results, the connections of cables to masts and to precast concrete wall elements were reconfigured and repaired where needed to restore the structure’s load capacity.
