Daniel Ki, PE

Associate

Daniel Ki joined Severud Associates as an engineer in 2015 and in 2019, progressed to senior engineer.  In 2021, he advanced to associate.  His six years of design has yielded a thorough grasp of structural analysis, including specialized areas such as design for blast loading.  Dan’s major projects include 100 Vandam Street in Manhattan, a residential tower built over and within an existing building.  His current work at 200 East 34th Street and the District Council 37 Headquarters on Barclay Street, both also in Manhattan, is equally challenging.  Dan is active with SEAoNY and is co-editor of their quarterly newsletter, Cross Sections.

Dan is licensed as a structural engineer in Nevada and as a professional engineer in New York.  He earned a bachelor of science in civil engineering and master of engineering in structural engineering from Cornell University.
