Daniel Surrett, PE
Dan Surrett has been with Severud Associates since 2006. He started as an engineer and progressed to senior engineer in 2012. The next year, he advanced to associate and in 2018, was elevated to senior associate, a position that allows him to both manage and engineer large-scale projects. Dan is skilled in the design of many structural systems including a variety of foundation types. His extensive field experience includes performing special inspections of reinforced concrete construction, often for buildings of his own design. Dan’s portfolio of noteworthy projects includes One Vanderbilt Avenue and the Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park, two of the tallest office buildings in New York City, as well as Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Scott Bieler Clinical Sciences Center in Buffalo, New York and the Barnes Foundation relocation and expansion in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dan is licensed as a professional engineer in New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Notre Dame University.
