Rebecca Milano, PE

Associate

Rebecca Milano has been with Severud Associates since 2017, when she started as an engineer. In 2021, she progressed to senior engineer and advanced to associate in 2023. Rebecca’s work overseeing construction of large-scale and mega projects has made her particularly skilled in the alteration and renovation of existing buildings, including those constructed with historical structural systems such as riveted steel and draped wire mesh reinforced concrete. She recently contributed analysis, design, and field engineering for the mixed-use Moynihan Train Hall–James A. Farley Post Office Redevelopment and is currently the full-time on-site engineer at One Madison Avenue, the overbuild and renovation of an existing concrete office building; both projects are in New York City. Rebecca’s other notable projects include Northwell Health’s Medical Pavilion and NYU Langone Health’s Alumni Hall renovation, both in Manhattan, a warehouse conversion in Cranford, New Jersey, and a private residence in Houston, Texas.

Rebecca is licensed as a professional engineer in New York. She earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Lehigh University and a Master of Science in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
