Stephen Reichwein, PE, SE(NV), SECB


Steve Reichwein joined Severud Associates in 2009 as an engineer after interning with the firm the summer before. He progressed to senior engineer in 2013 and shortly thereafter advanced to associate. Steve’s background in architectural engineering along with his design experience, especially with reinforced concrete buildings, has enabled him to engineer his clients’ visions effectively, regardless of their complexity. His list of challenging projects includes the Eastern Mirage hotel and medical center building, the “Transformation” of Madison Square Garden, and the mixed-use development at 20 Times Square, all in New York City. Steve represents the structural engineering profession as a member of Structural Engineering Certification Board (SECB) and  committees and as an active participant with the Concrete Industry Board

Steve is co-author of “Times Square’s New Addition,” about 20 Times Square, which appeared in Structure in March 2018.

Steve is certified by the Structural Engineering Certification Board (SECB), licensed as a structural engineer in Nevada, and licensed as a professional engineer in New York. He earned a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and a Master of Architectural Engineering in civil engineering, both from the Pennsylvania State University.
